Iowa Community College Athletic Conference

Dan Haugo is in his 10th year as the Assistant Commissioner and Sports Information Director of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference. 

Prior to his time at the ICCAC, Haugo has spent time at Duke University as an assistant in the Athletic Facilities, Game Operations and Championships department. There, he acted as facility manager for Cameron Indoor Stadium and all other athletic facilities, coordinating all routine maintenance and overseeing day-to-day operations. He served as the primary event manager for wrestling and swimming & diving, as well as assisting with football, men's & women's basketball, field hockey and volleyball. 

Haugo has been a member of the ICCAC in the past, serving as Assistant Operations Director in 2012-13. During his time, he was assistant director for both the 2012 NJCAA Football National Championship and 2013 NJCAA National Wrestling Tournament. His role further explored working with conference basketball officials, NJCAA DII Men's Basketball Coaches Association and daily maintenance of the conference website. 

A graduate of Iowa State University in 2011 with a B.S. in journalism and mass communications, Haugo worked as an assistant in the Cyclone's athletic communications office and served as a manager for the football team for two seasons and working for the Indianapolis Colts for a training camp in 2011. 

An Iowa native, Haugo currently resides in Des Moines.
