2021 FALL PREVIEW | WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
The ICCAC Women's Cross Country crown is up for grabs this season in both Divisions.
Iowa Western will be back but without the best distance runner in the NJCAA of the last two years. The Reivers will look to put together a competitive roster without Faith Linga.
Iowa Central was unable to defend their fourth consecutive title after being held out of the national meet due to COVID-19. The Tritons attempt to replace their top three from a season ago.
Indian Hills is high on their team this year and hope they can have their best finish in school history.
Southwestern, annually part of the Division I group of four, was unable to field a roster this fall.
On the Division II side, NIACC and Hawkeye are the top two teams favored to compete for the regional championship. Both have First Team All-Americans returning to the course in Sarah Bertry (NIACC) and Ryann Portch (Hawkeye). Bertry hopes to get over the hump and win the race after coming in second last year at the national meet.
DMACC and Southeastern will both have full rosters to make a push for the top three of the five-team Division II conference, while Scott rounds out the group.
