2024 NJCAA All-American | Women's Soccer
The 2024 NJCAA Women's Soccer All-American teams were announced this past Tuesday. Five players were featured from ICCAC schools this season, two from Division I and three from Division II.
Iowa Western earned two Division I First Team All-American selections starting with ICCAC Division I Player of the Year Oruha Hayashi. Hayashi earned the honors following an impressive season where she finished third in the NJCAA in goals with 25, assists with 19, and total points with 69.
Midfielder Alexia Medrano joined her teammate on the First Team in 2024. Medrano contributed to the goal scoring for the Reivers with six goals and four assists while playing a critical role in the Reivers midfield.
Three different schools saw players selected to All-American teams this season in Division II.
Headlining the group was Division II ICCAC Player of the Year Eden Palkovic. Palkovic earned Second Team All-American honors after scoring 26 goals and providing six assists this season, good for fourth-most goals in the NJCAA.
On the Third Team are two ICCAC players, Kim Bircher and Ronniellia Bubb.
Standing in goal for Hawkeye, Bircher was dominant this season, allowing only nine goals in 15 games while shutting out the opponent on 11 occasions.
Bubb earned the honor with a season of 22 goals and nine assists; she finished tied 11th for goals scored in the NJCAA but had five less games than either of the two she tied with.
2024 NJCAA Division I All-Americans
