2023 NJCAA All-Americans | Women's Soccer

2023 NJCAA All-American Teams were released Tuesday and six players from ICCAC schools were included for Women's Soccer.

Division I saw National Champions Iowa Western receive three selections after winning a second consecutive title.

Making First Team for the Reivers were ICCAC Division I Player of the Year Lou Brossault and goalkeeper Bella Washington. 

Brossault, the ICCAC Division I Player of the Year, helped lead the Reivers to a perfect season while contributing eight goals and 17 assists.

Washington conceded three goals in 17 games this season, making her goals allowed per game only 0.19. She was the Goalkeeper of the Tournament at the National Tournament as well. 

Second Team selection Nanami Hata played in every single game for the Reivers in their perfect season and was a crucial leader on the defensive side of the ball. 

Iowa Western finished the season with a perfect 17-0 record while winning back-to-back national titles. 

Division II saw Iowa Central receive one selection and Region 11 Champions Northeast received two selections.

Heading the First Team selections were forwards Landry McCoid and Aidyn Woodall

McCoid, from Iowa Central, was named ICCAC Division II Player of the Year with an impressive 35 goal season – second-highest in NJCAA. 

Woodall was a part of the Region 11 & District Championship and played at the National Tournament while scoring 16 goals and assisting another 18. 

Making the Third Team was Hawks freshman midfielder Talia Sanders who helped the Hawks throughout the season by scoring 18 goals.
