ICCAC FALL PREVIEW | DIVISION II WOMEN'S SOCCER
The second season of ICCAC Division II Women's Soccer is underway! Six teams will vie for a Region XI Championship again this fall, just three months after finishing the spring season.
Northeast led the way earlier this year, winning the regular season crown, regional tournament title and earned a spot in the national tournament. The Hawks return the league's top scorer along with another All-American with hopes to repeat their success of the spring.
Hawkeye finished second and right behind Northeast, narrowly falling to the Hawks in the regional final 2-1. The RedTails have their core back and will make a push to claim the region.
Southeastern and NIACC each hope to move up the ladder into the top two seeds this year as well, with the preference of resting in the first round and hosting a semifinal matchup.
Scott and Dakota County round out a league that begins conference play on Sept. 18.
