ICCAC Wrestling Standings

Iowa Western @ Ellsworth - Iowa Falls, IA - 7 PM

Iowa Western travels to Iowa Falls to take on the Ellsworth Panthers in an ICCAC dual. Ellsworth comes into the matchup ranked No. 10 in the NJCAA rankings, and Iowa Western is receiving votes, sitting just outside the top 20. This is the first of two matchups between the two foes this season in the ICCAC.

Iowa Western enters the matchup at 0-1 in conference duals with 24 points for and 64 points against. The Reivers have three wrestlers that are currently ranked in the NJCAA according to InterMat. Thomas Lisher - No. 6 at 149 (0-2 ICCAC), Brandon Burgos -No.8 at 157 (0-1 ICCAC), Tim Barr -No. 7 at 184 (2-0 ICCAC). The trio will look to help the Reivers to their first ICCAC dual win. The Reivers are coming off a 35-9 loss at the hands of No. 2 ranked Iowa lakes back on Nov. 14 and will be looking to get on the winning track tonight.

Ellsworth comes in at 1-1 in conference duals with 46 points for, 40 points against, and 2 pins. Ellsworth is led by Charles Griffin- No.1 ranked HWT in NJCAA (InterMat), and Jordan Shahrikian, coming in at the No. 3 spot at 184 lbs (InterMat). Griffin is 1-0, and Shahrikian is 2-0 for Ellsworth in ICCAC duals this season. The Panthers are looking to build off of their dual win against NIACC on November 14th, and continue their win streak in the conference.

The key matchup tonight to look out for will be at 184 when Jordan Shahrikian takes on Tim Barr in an exciting top-10 bout. Look for this to be a competitive dual, as both teams are hungry for more success in conference, and are looking to build toward an ICCAC crown.

NIACC @ Iowa Central - Fort Dodge, IA - 7 PM

The second dual of the night will be NIACC traveling to Fort Dodge to take on Iowa Central in an ICCAC conference matchup. Iowa Central comes into the dual ranked No.6 in the NJCAA, and NIACC is receiving votes.

Iowa Central is led by a trio of ranked wrestlers according to InterMat. Kevin Radcliff- No. 7 at 125 lbs (1-0 ICCAC), Ethan Karsten- No. 2 at 149 lbs (1-0 ICCAC), and Gunner Cash- No. 2 at 285 lbs (1-0 ICCAC). The Tritons are 1-0 on the season in ICCAC duals, with 29 points for and 15 points against, to go along with 3 pins. Iowa Central is coming off of a 29-15 defeat of Iowa Western on November 8th and is looking to tie Iowa Lakes at the top of the ICCAC standings with a win.

NIACC's lone ranked wrestler according to InterMat is Mark Gonzales, who is ranked No.5 at 125lbs. This NIACC lineup will be an underdog in a lot of matches but will be hungry for an upset win over the Tritons. NIACC is coming off a 31-15 loss to Ellsworth on Nov. 14 and looks to get on the win column.

A key match to watch is a top-10 matchup at 125 when No. 7 Kevin Radcliff takes on No. 5 Mark Gonzales in a matchup that will surely be an exciting one.
