Iowa Western will start next weekend with a 29-stroke lead in the team race at the Region XI Women's Golf Championship

ANKENY, Iowa-- After Day No. 12 of the Region XI Women's Golf Championship, Iowa Western is ahead by 29 strokes in the team race. Led by individual scoreboard leader Lisa Lied (142, E), sitting with a seven-stroke lead on teammate Cassidy Evreniadis (74, -3), the Reivers are in a solid spot after a day on the course.

Jaime Bellingham (DMACC), helped pace the currently second place Bears, finishing the first round with a 79.

Round 2 starts Saturday (April 21st) at 10:00 AM at Otter Creek in Ankeny.
