DMACC Women Take Region XI Preview Title; Bellingham Takes First Individually

Des Moines Area came away with a first-place team finish at the Region XI Women's Spring Preview Golf Meet on Friday.
The Bears finished with a total score of 366 (+78), well ahead of Southeastern's 394 (+106) and North Iowa Area's 400 (+122).
Individually, DMACC's Jaime Bellingham finished as the top golfer with a total score of 81, which was just nine shots over par.
Southeastern's Morgan Totsch (+18) and Frankie Johnson (+19) finished in second and third place, respectively.
The Spring Preview gives a late look at where all the ICCAC Division II golf teams are before heading into the first of two weekends of the Region XI Championships this Saturday and Sunday in Ankeny.
