Division I Men

NJCAA DI Men XC Championships

This past weekend in Tallahassee, Fla. ICCAC teams traveled to the 2022 NJCAA National Cross Country Championships and the Division I Men's team of Iowa Central was on a mission to finish on top of the nation once again. Iowa Central was led by Aspel Kiprob who finished 6th with a time of 24:40. The Iowa Central team individual finished top 40 and placed second in the nation with a team score 115. The Iowa Western team finished 14th with a team score 407.

Division I Women

NJCAA DI Women XC Championships

On the women's side of Division I, Mercy Biwott from Iowa Western finished second in the nation with a 18:05.8 and helped the Iowa Western team finish 10th. The Iowa Central team finished 5th in the Nation led by Chloe Garcia Grafing who ran a 18:38.5 and Taylor Mcreedy ran a 18:57.6 to finish 11th in the nation. The two ICCAC teams finished top 10 and had three runners finish top 15 in the nation.

Division II Men

NJCAA DII Men XC Championships

In the Division II Men's race the winner of Region 11 D'Artagnon Beaver finished 45th with a time of 27:52.7 to be the top finisher for the ICCAC in Division II. DMACC's Quintio Kimery finished 60th with a time of 28:22.9. The Southeastern team finished 22nd with a score of 574 and DMACC finished 24th with a score of 648. NIACC was the top team in the ICCAC with a score of 485 to finish 17th in the nation.

Division II Women

The race in Division II was a showdown of many great ICCAC runners and the field. Aisha Ramone of Southeastern ran a 19:32.6 to finish fifth in the nation. Natalia Segura of DMACC ran a great race and finished 14th with a time of 19:48.9. The Southeastern team finished 10th in the nation as a team with 360 points and DMACC as a team finished 15th with 435. Hawkeye ran a great race by their team and finished 26th as a team with 650 points.
