ICCAC Cross Country Competing at Morningside Invite

This Saturday, Iowa Central and Iowa Western will be competing at the Morningside Invite in North Sioux City, S.D.

Action will begin at 10 a.m. with the women's 5K and 10:45 a.m. for the men's 8K.

The course is located within the Adams Nature Preserve. Along with Iowa Central and Iowa Western, other schools competing include: College of Saint Mary, Dordt University, Northwestern College of Iowa, Northwestern College of Minnesota, Midland University, Hastings College, Briar Cliff University, Southeastern Community College, Bellevue University, and Dakota Wesleyan University. 

The Tritons are coming off back-to-back first place finishes at the Grand View Open and the Viking Invitational. Freshman, Kelvin Bungei, claimed top spot for both men's events. For the women, Chloe Lenoir won the Grand View Open and Eleonora Curtabbi led the Tritons in the Viking Invitational.

Iowa Western placed third overall for the men and second for the women last week at the Viking Invitational.

Looking Ahead: The next ICCAC Cross Country action will be Friday, September 25 in the Spartan Classic. ICCAC schools competing are DMACC, NIACC, Southeastern, and Southwestern.
