Freshman Trey Simons led the NIACC men with a third-place finish in a school-record 5-kilometer time of 15 minutes, 31 seconds. Sophomore Jaime Zarate placed fourth for the Trojans in a time of 15:34, which also broke the old school mark of 16:01 by Trent Smith in 2012.
Sophomore Hannah Palmeter led the NIACC women with a second-place finish in a 4K school-record time of 14:43. Freshman Alyssa Cowan placed ninth in 15:38, which ranks third on the school's all-time 4K list.
