ICCAC FALL PREVIEW | DIVISION I MEN'S SOCCER
Iowa Western came up one win short in the spring of winning their schools second-ever NJCAA National Championship. The Reivers will be back again this season as the favorites after winning the last two regular season crowns and returning a bulk of their roster from last season, including the ICCAC Player of the Year.
Right behind them is Iowa Lakes who fell to the Reivers in the NJCAA semifinals after receiving an at-large bid to the national tournament. It was the first time in school history the Lakers reached the national tournament, who had been knocking on the door after three consecutive defeats in Region XI finals.
Marshalltown will regroup to make a stab at the regional title. The Tigers were dethroned last year after winning back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019.
Indian Hills showcases a new coach for the second straight season and will do so at their home away from home while their field undergoes construction this fall.
The Iowa Central Tritons round out one of the most competitive soccer regions in the country where no game is guaranteed -- as the Tritons took down Iowa Lakes in one of their meetings last spring.
