ICCAC FALL PREVIEW | DIVISION II MEN'S SOCCER
The inaugural NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer season was not ideal for all involved, playing a shortened schedule in a condensed spring season. Nonetheless, the results favored one ICCAC team, as Southeastern rallied to a NJCAA National Championship.
The Blackhawks enter the fall as the No. 1 team in the country and reload for a title defense. They will have two All-Americans back on the roster to help lead the charge.
Hawkeye had a solid season and their best in school history, making the leap from the bottom half in an 11-team all-ICCAC conference to finishing second in the first year of Division II. They're top two players return as well to make a run at the Region XI title.
Northeast has the top returning scorer in the conference with hopes to find ways to beat Southeastern and Hawkeye after going 0-5 versus the top two last spring.
NIACC also looks to find ways to win against teams that finished higher in the standings last season. The Trojans will have to replace their leading scorer with their returning core and incoming talent.
Scott and Dakota County hope to find success as well in the second season of ICCAC Division II Men's Soccer.
