KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Indian Hills' Jose Carletta finished 8-under par to win the Central District Championship at Tiffany Greens on Tuesday.
The sophomore went for back-to-back 5-under par rounds of 67 in rounds one and two to take a six stroke lead. Carletta's third round 74 was still enough to give him a five-stroke victory.
He ended the tournament 8-under par ahead of two teammates who tied for second.
Gaspar Glaudas and Shinju Aoki finished tied for the runner up spot, both posting scores of 3-under-par after 54 holes, holding their Day 1 position as well.
