Kirkwood holds a three-shot lead over Iowa Central after the first 36 holes at the 2021 Region XI Championships. Kirkwood's Kobly Schackelford and James Morgan are tied for the lead at 2-over par.
Iowa Central hods the next three spots in the top five with Austin Erickson, Tomas Riveiro and Joe Forsting at +5, +6 and +8 respectively.
DMACC is in thrid place, holding a seven-stroke lead over Hawkeye.
Teams regroup tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. Top three teams and the next two individuals advance to the NJCAA National Tournament.
