Warriors Runner-Up At District Championship By One Stroke, Reivers in Third
Indian Hills finished one stroke behind Hutchinson at the Central District Golf Champoinships on Monday at Crestview Country Club in Witchita, Kan.
The Warriors were led by Harry Fearn who tied for second finising at even par after the three rounds. Fearn tied for an ICCAC-low 68 on the final day. Teammates Thomas Burou and Antoine Sale each had top-10 finishes in the 55 golfer field with three-day totals of 219 (+4).
Iowa Western finished in third among the eight teams at the event. They were led by Jakob Falk who also finished in a tie for second with Fearn. Daniel Gutgesell and Kyle Hickey finished in fifth and sixth place with +1 and +2 weekends.
Both teams qualify for the NJCAA Championships scheduled for May 10-13 at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas.
