DMACC's head coach Blake Sandquist was named Coach of the Year for the second season in a row. The 17 conference wins was the most ICCAC Division II Men's Basketball since the Bears went 17-4 in the extended, conference-only COVID schedule back in the spring of 2021.
In his third season, Sandquist has amassed an 84-16 record through his first 100 games. In conference play he has led the Bears to 44-8. DMACC is eyeing their second-consecutive national tournament appearance and fifth in the last six seasons.

He scored 20 or more points in 16 games and 30 or more five times. In the team's regular season finale, Garrett poured in 55 points to propel the Hawks past Ellsworth which ultimately qualified them for the Region 11 Tournament.
NIACC's Omarion Roberts rounds out the 2024-25 First Team selections after leading the Trojans in scoring this season. The focal point of any opposing defense, Roberts averaged 13.8 points per game in conference and 15.7 points for the season.
