Indian Hills Hosts the Fourth Annual IA-MO Challenge

OTTUMWA, Iowa – Eight Division I Men's Basketball teams from Iowa and Missouri will meet in the fourth annual IA-MO Challenge.This year the event will be held at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. The games will be played on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11 at the Hellyer Center. 

The same participants from the 2022 IA-MO Challenge will be participating this year. Missouri-West Plains, Moberly Area, State Fair and Three Rivers represent the Missouri teams. On the Iowa side, Indian Hills, Marshalltown, Southeastern, and Triton (Ill.) will compete again in the Challenge.

Triton, from River Grove, Illinois, has represented the Iowa side of the challenge since Iowa Western dropped to Division II in 2020. Over the last three editions of the IA-MO Challenge Iowa leads the series 16-8, although there have been many close games since the creation of the IA-MO Challenge.

This year the IA-MO Challenge will feature three ranked teams. Southeastern enters with the highest ranking at #12, followed by # 14 Indian Hills and #20 Moberly Area. Matchups against these teams will include Southeastern versus Moberly Area on Friday at 5:00 PM. Then, on Saturday, Indian Hills will face off against Moberly Area in the last game of this year's IA-MO Challenge.
