2019 Fall Preview | Division II Volleyball

2019 Fall Preview | Division II Volleyball

Arguably the best conference top to bottom in the country, the ICCAC returns to court on Aug. 22 with Division II volleyball action. Last season, six different teams were ranked in the NJCAA top 20 at one point during the season, including five in the same poll.

Kirkwood, voted as favorite to win the conference in the preseason coaches poll, is coming off a fourth-place finish at the National Tournament, while Northeast has won a regional and advanced to nationals for the past three seasons. Iowa Central, DMACC and Hawkeye are not far behind them. The Tritons went a perfect 9-0 in conference play last year but will replace their entire starting lineup. DMACC reloads and is eyeing a return to the national tournament for the first time since 2015.

Hawkeye was the league surprise in 2018 as the No. 3 seed going 7-2 in conference play and 18-8 overall in their first competitive season.

Check out who is returning, who is gone and who is new to each team in this year's Fall Preview.
