Division I Conference Standings 

 #3 Iowa Western (21-2; 3-0) def. Indian Hills (12-8; 1-2), 3-1

Indian Hills was poised for an upset as the Warriors hosted the No. 3 ranked Iowa Western Reivers in a rematch of a game played on Sept. 12. The Reivers won the first meeting 3-0 in Council Bluffs. 

The Warriors got out to the start they wanted, jumping out to an early lead in the first set before capping it off 25-22. However, by the fourth set, Iowa Western had rallied to win three straight sets and end the match. The Reivers won 25-17, 25-22, and 25-18. 

Statistically, Indian Hills was led by Amanda Toyota with 17 digs defensively and offensively were paced by Mariana Rodrigues and Cecilia Campos who both had double-digit kills. Yasmin Assis assisted the scorers 43 times.

Division II Conference Standings

 

#10 Iowa Central (20-7; 6-0) def. Southeastern (13-11; 2-4), 3-0

Iowa Central continued their dominance over the ICCAC Division II volleyball conference last week, notching another win to their perfect record, this time over Southeastern. The Tritons rolled on the road to a 3-0 sweep of the Blackhawks. 

The games themselves weren't that close. Outside of a second set 28-26 outcome, Southeastern scored just 21 points combined in the other two sets. Amaya Finley of Iowa Central led all scorers with 18 points, 16 kills. Three other Tritons had seven kills apiece as they shared the workload offensively. Four players had double-digit kills for Iowa Central, which explains the low scoring output for Southeastern. 

Taylor Menzies had eight kills for Southeastern while Mariah Cook had 21 assists. 

Iowa Central will meet Kirkwood next week in Fort Dodge for a top 15 battle. Southeastern will go to Boone and face the Bears.

#18 Northeast (12-7; 5-1) def. NIACC (15-9; 2-4), 3-0

Northeast swept past NIACC as the Trojans traveled to Nebraska to take on the aggravated Hawks, who were coming off their first conference loss last week to Iowa Central. 

The Hawks won 25-20, 25-17, and 25-20 before it was all said and done. 

On the Trojans side, they were led by two big hitters, Hannah Wagner and Kennedy Meister, each of who had 11 kills. Connor Gauch picked up 28 digs and Ashley Groe and Sydney Roush split the passing duties, with 13 and 15 assists. 

Northeast will face Ellsworth while NIACC faces Hawkeye next week.

#11 Hawkeye (15-3; 5-1) def. Southwestern (12-14; 1-5), 3-0

Hawkeye kept their season rolling and kept pace with the top half of the ICCAC conference by sweeping Southwestern at home on Wednesday night. Jessica Hopkins led all the RedTails in kills with 15 while the ICCAC leader in kills per set (4.55), Megan Hudson, added 11. Maggie Driscoll handed out 38 assists while Haylee Kuene and Hudson took the defensive duties, combining for 24 digs. 

Set scores finished at 25-18, 25-22, 25-17, in favor of Hawkeye. 

Hawkeye heads to NIACC next week while Southwestern has Iowa Lakes in what could determine who is in and who is out of this year's regional tournament as the 8th seed.

 #12 Kirkwood (22-4; 4-2) def. Iowa Lakes (7-22; 1-5), 3-0

Kirkwood rolled past Iowa Lakes in their fourth conference win of the season. The most points the Eagles gave up was 16 in the second set. Alexa Aldrich-Ingram had the most kills, 10. Lauren Keane had 24 assists and Haleigh Durnin and Maddie Lavenz had double-digit digs. 

Iowa Lakes will need to rebound next week against Southwestern, who are currently tied for 8th place at 1-5 in conference play. Kirkwood will have their shot to knock off the No. 1 team in the league, Iowa Central, in Fort Dodge.

#19 DMACC (16-7; 4-2) def. Ellsworth (1-22; 0-6), 3-1 

DMACC spoiled Ellsworth head coach Sara Jesse's debut against her former team, winning 3-1 against the Panthers. Ellsworth won the third set, 26-24, but didn't score more than 16 in any of the other three sets. 

The Panthers were led by Jesenia Colbert who had 13 kills and Celest Filoialii who had 10. Jena Gerot had 38 assists from her setter roll. The elongated match allowed for three Panthers to keep points going and had double-digit digs, including Gigi Olivo who had 19. 

On the Bears side, Madison Paulsen and Amber Dilsaver had 12 kills each. Daiton Martin had 12 digs, Keimoney Lang had 15 and Lacey Clark had 11. Gillian Tupper matched Gerot with 38 assists. 

DMACC plays Southeastern in a week while Ellsworth battles Northeast.
