Division I Women's Basketball All-Region Teams Announced

The 2018-19 ICCAC Division I Women's All-Region players have been selected. The First Team All-Region list is stacked with three Iowa Western players, two Northeast guards and one Marshalltown player based upon each team's finish during the regular season.

Kiara Dallmann, the 2019 ICCAC Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Year, led Iowa Western with 13.8 points per game, averaging 61.9% from the field, ranking fourth in the nation. The sophomore started all 27 games she has played thus far this season. She also averaged 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

Dallmann received First Team honors for the second straight season.

Iowa Western's redshirt freshman, No. 34 Aubriana Noti, was second in points per game for the Reivers averaging 11 per game. The Colorado Springs native led her team in rebounds as she averaged 9.4 per game. The forward stayed away from the three-point line but averaged a solid 53.4% from the field, third best for the Reivers.

The final First Team selection from Iowa Western, freshman Sommer Blakemore, made her presence known during her first season. Blakemore averaged 9.7 points per game and led the ICCAC Division I women's basketball ranks in both assists (95) and three-point field goal makes (56). On the year she averaged 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

The first of two Northeast selections was sophomore Irene Sanz. An honorable mention selection last season, the sophomore from Spain averaged 11.6 points per game which led the Hawks. Sanz snatched 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. She was often responsible for her teammates scoring as she also led the team in assists, averaging a team-high 2.4 per game.

Another Northeast guard, sophomore Lauren Hunstad earned First Team honors after a successful second season for the Hawks. Hunstad bumped up her scoring average from last years' 6.8 to this years' 9.1 points per game. She snatched an average of 4 rebounds per game and tallied up 2.1 assists per game. 

The lone Tiger on the First Team All-Region this year was freshman Dana Stokes. The Chicago native played in 26 games her first season for Marshalltown. Stokes averaged 9.1 points per game and managed to grab around 4 rebounds a game for the Tigers.
