2023 NJCAA All-Americans | Men's Soccer

2023 NJCAA All-American Teams were released Tuesday and 11 players from ICCAC schools were included for Men's Soccer.

Division II saw seven players get selected from two different schools. The Northeast Hawks had four players make All-American and the National Champions Iowa Lakes had three players selected.

ICCAC Division II Player of the Year Edouard Nys was a First Team selection alongside Luka Baltzer for the Hawks. Nys scored 17 goals and assisted 22 more for 39 total goal contributions this season. Baltzer finished the year with 12 goal contributions. Both were named to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team as well. 

Making Second team for the Hawks was goalkeeper Mathias Kristoffersen who only allowed 11 goals in 23 games. Third Team selection was freshman forward Lewis Rourke who scored 22 goals this season.

From the 2023 NJCAA Division II National Champions, Iowa Lakes had Keiji Sugiura make the First Team. Sugiura was a playmaker for his team all season long tallying 13 assists and two goals for the Lakers. He was an NJCAA All-Tournament selection. 

The Lakers had two players make the Second Team, midfielder Emilio Cazares and defender Eugenio Perez. Cazares scored 20 goals for the Lakers in his first season with the team. Perez was strong in the Lakers defense all season and scored a critical goal in the semifinals of the National Tournament.

Division I had four players selected to the All-American Teams. Indian Hills had three players selected to each team and Iowa Western had one selection.

Warriors forward Gustavo Marques made First Team after scoring seven goals this season and assisting another 4. Goalkeeper Harvey Sellers was selected to the Second Team after only conceding eight goals all season. Making the Third Team was freshman defender Ales Kohoutek.

Rounding out the selections is ICCAC Division I Player of the Year Timothy Mason. Mason scored five goals this season in 12 games with two of them being game-winning goals.
