2023 All-Region | Division I Men's Soccer
The Division I Men's Soccer coaches selected the 2023 All-Region team with 11 players earning recognition. 
 
Indian Hills and Iowa Western found themselves as the two teams remaining at the Division I level in Region 11 this season. Both put together some of the toughest schedules in the country, and had great team success, ultimately playing each other in a district championship game with the winner earning an automatic bid to the National Tournament. 
 
Indian Hills prevailed in that match, as well as twice during the regular season over the Reivers -- and thus earning seven spots on the All-Region squad. 
 
The team was led all season by their goalkeeper, who came up with big saves in big games. Harvey Sellers played in 10 contests, allowing just five goals and making 18 saves behind a stout defense. He 5-1-4 in those games and produced five shutouts. Sellers played 817 minutes this season with .55 goals against average. 
 
The Warriors top scorer's this season were Lucas Bauer, Gustavo Marques and Fernando Pirri. Bauer had 15 points off five goals and five assists, with Marques and Pirri each produced 14 points. Pirri led the team in goals with six. 
 
Alex Rodriguez had four goals and four assists and was selected to the All-Region team, and Daniel Mulero was selected as well. Each has produced double-digit points this season. 
 
Rounding out the group was defender Ales Kohoutek who was a defensive anchor for the Warriors in 2023. 
 
The ICCAC Player of the Year came from Iowa Western who had four players on the All-Region team. Timothy Mason had 11 points, netting five goals and adding one assist. His consistency and strong play earned him the top honor for the region in Division I Men's Soccer. 
 
Joining Mason on this list were teammates Jaehyuk Moon, Ryusei Shimonishi and Stefan Bilinac
 
Shimonishi was one of four players with 10 or more points this season and the main distributor. He had eight assists to lead all players on this year's list. 
 
Bilinac had two goals this season -- while Moon was recognized for his defense.
 
The 2023 Coach of the Year was Felix Vu after leading Indian Hills to the District Championship. The Warriors earned an automatic bid to the National Tournament for their second-ever appearance. In the top 10 much of the season, the Warriors were 9th in the final poll with a record of 9-2-4.
