Yesterday, Iowa Lakes competed in the Morningside Fall Invitational at the Green Valley Golf Club in Sioux City, Iowa. Green Valley featured 6,750 yards of golf and is a par-72.
Iowa Lakes was the only ICCAC team in the 11 team field.
The Lakers took third place, four strokes behind second place Buena Vista. Iowa Lakes was lead by freshman Scott Flatebo who shot a 2-over par 74, which landed him tied for fourth place individually. Close behind Flatebo was teammate Sam Miller who shot a 3-over par 75 tying him for seventh. There was only one stroke that separted 15th and 21st place in which Dawson Weber finished tied for 15th posting a 6-over par and Blake Johnson shooting a 7-over par landing him tied for 21st place. To round out the Lakers' finishers was Jake Hemann who tied for 25th shooting a 10-over par.

Looking Ahead: The next ICCAC Golf action will be today, Friday, September 25th in the Wartburg Invite. This will be a two-day event featuring Hawkeye and Kirkwood for the ICCAC.
