NIACC's Trobaugh signs with Concordia-St. Paul

"I really like the smaller campus," Trobaugh said. "They have good coaches on staff that can really help take my game to the next level."

NIACC coach Chris Frenz said that the two years at NIACC have helped Trobaugh get ready for golf at the four-year level.

"Kevin came here needing the confidence to know that he could compete at a higher level of competition," Frenz said. "He has certainly done that and has worked very hard on his game during his time here.

"I think he has improved his course management during a round of golf and that has led to lower scores."

The NIACC men's golf team plays in the NJCAA Region XI tournament in Panora on Saturday and Sunday.

"Hopefully, we all play well and we will have a really good chance to go to nationals," Trobaugh said.
