Lakers Recognized as NABC Team of the Week for Second Time

Iowa Lakes went 2-0 last week to improve to 18-8 overall and 8-3 in the ICCAC. The Lakers won a thriller on Thursday, outlasting DMACC 112-106 in triple overtime.

Then on Saturday, Iowa Lakes built a 13-point halftime lead and held off No. 4 Kirkwood CC for an 82-75 road victory.

The Lakers were paced by freshman guard Kevin Jennings who scored 58 points combined in the two games, 36 against DMACC. He connected on 12 of 18 three-point attempts on the week.
